UNIVERSITY   OF   SUSSEX   RUGBY   CLUB

The phrase 'work hard, play hard' certainly isn't lost on us, and the stuff on the pitch definitely isn't where it stops! Being a super friendly, social team we have various activities and nights out happening every week throughout the year. Every Wednesday we suit up in the most ridiculous fancy dress we can find and head into town to our sponsor bar, Revolution, to get pickled on cider black and cheap shots before heading to Pryzm for sports night, promised to be the highlight of your week! We also regularly head to Sally Vate's Rock and Roll Bingo on Sunday nights at Charles Street, where our girls have been known to win many a jackpot cash prize, ooohhh!

 

Over the Easter break, we join the other Sussex teams on the legendary TUOOOR for a week of Sugby antics in Croatia. We'll say it for now, because you'll all say it when you're there, it will be the best week of your life (queue emosh 'I LOVE Sugby' moments!). Finally, we finish our year with our own Sugby Awards night with special awards such as "Most Improved" and "Social Mess of the Year" in addition to attending the Sussex Student Awards, wher elast year we dominated the competition, winning two awards and graciously accepting these with a raucous rendition of the sacred Sussex Song.
