MEN'S 2ND XV

After two years out, the University of Sussex Men's Rugby have finally had our 2nd XV reinstated into BUCS , with our team being put into SouthEastern 7A. In this division, we will play teams ranging from Royal Holloway to Imperial. We have worked extremely hard to organise extra fixtures for ourselves in our two previous years and now have a competitive team who should easily be competing for further promotion.

Many of the players for the 2nd XV are also readily challenging players in the 1st XV for positions, and many have made the transition from the 2nd XV to 1st XV team last season.

We have teams to cater for all abilities, so even if you have never played before but are interested in starting, then sign up at the Freshers Fair in Library Square on the 16th of September.

Training & Matches

We train as a whole squad; training with the 1st XV and Merit team on Mondays and Fridays (Mondays and Fridays 5-7pm first 2 weeks; then 7-9pm Mondays & 5-7pm Fridays), at the Falmer Sports Complex pitches, which will also be the location of the trials and Fresher Inductions on the 21st and 22nd of September.
